How I built the agent studio in public.
This page archives the homepage narrative from when the fleet was still wiring up and the homepage framed the studio as a build in progress, one agent at a time. The roster is built now; verification is still honest on the homepage. The story of how it got here stays here, in past tense, so the live site can stay accurate.
Most builders ship the demo and hide the build. I did the opposite. For months the homepage showed a dashboard of agents with honest badges — live, wiring up, target date — while each one came online in public. You could see the prompts, the schemas, the failures, and every draft I approved or rejected.
The rule never changed: agents draft; I decide. Nothing ships without human judgment. The model was never “AI replaces me.” It was “AI gives me more hours, and I spend them on the 5% only I can do.”
The plan shifted as reality did — the roster changed, CURATOR left it, PRODUCER grew from scripts into avatar video and YouTube. The editor's note on the original launch essay still says it plainly: the plan grew and shrank. Today 3 agents are live & verified and 4 are built but unverified.
